RAW GRANOLAS from the Living Way

 

RAW OATMEAL
1.5 cup rolled oats
1 medium apple- sliced, diced, or grated
few raisins, chopped walnuts
1-2 tsp. Allspice
1 Tbsp coconut flakes (shredded, unsweetened)
1 cup nut milk (approx.)

Place oats in a serving bowl, add nut milk and raisins, and soak 1-2 hrs. or overnight. Add in apple and walnuts. Top with Allspice, shredded coconut. For extra fun, add a sprinkle of chia or flax seeds. This is a hearty way to start the day!

 


GROATMEAL

1-2 cups raw, hulled, organic oat groats
1 large apple
few raisins
few chopped walnuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. coriander
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut
1 cup nut milk (approx)

Soak groats in water overnight. In the morning, drain off the water and rinse. Place in a serving bowl and add sliced apple, raisins, and nut milk. Top with spices, shredded coconut, walnuts. For extra fun, top with chia or flax seeds. This is a hearty way to start the day!


RAW GRANOLA

1 cup hulled oat groats
1 apple
few raisins
1/8 cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup shredded, unsweetened coconut
1 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground nutmeg

Soak overnight all ingredients except apple and coconut. In the morning, drain off water and rinse. Place in bowl. Add chopped apple and coconut. Mix well.
