Hormones are a fact of life that can make or break the quality of our
health. Therefore their importance should be recognized, respected,
and well researched, for doing so can make the difference between
life and death.

In Hormone Health- Part 1 signs of hormone deficiency/imbalance
were presented along with their associated health risks. For the sake
of continuity, a review of this information is recommended in order to
better understand the nature and substance of hormones and how
lifestyle choices effect them.

Since hormones are largely the result of lifestyle choices, it may be
important if not imperative to examine personal choices/habits to
thereby learn how to make necessary lifestyle adjustments for
solving health problems that are linked to hormonal issues.

This being said, consider the following strategies for achieving
a healthy endrocrine system that supports hormone balance.

  1. Improve your diet- eliminate all animal-based foods
(meat, dairy, seafood) as well as processed/cooked food
in preference of plant-based food: raw vegetables, fruit,
vegetable juices, seeds, nuts, etc. For maximum nutritional
benefit, eat at least 85% living food. Avoid all foods that
contain chemical additives and/or preservatives. Avoid
all soy products and products that contain soy. Avoid
    freezing water/food in plastic containers.
  2. Examine environmental factors- avoid drinking tap water
and/or questionable well water. Avoid toxic air quality whenever
possible, especially in the home by investing in a Hepa air filter.
When buying land, a home, or planting a garden, test the history
of the property to avoid possible contamination by former owners,
i.e. industrial waste facilities, including the use of toxic fertilizers
    and human sludge.
  3. Avoid toxic exposure in the workplace- if necessary wear
protective clothing and/or a respirator. If all else fails, find a
job that offers a healthier working environment
  4. Use naturally-based household products- dish soaps,
floor cleaners, window/mirror cleaners, oven cleaners. Many
options exist as well as natural DYI recipes.
  5. Use naturally-based personal care products- Many
safe products such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, hair dye,
    nail polish, etc. exist.
  6. Wear natural fibers- such as organic cotton, wool, linen,
and hemp. If possible, avoid clothing that utilizes chemical
    dyes. solvents, and dyeing agents.
  7. Avoid medications- improve lifestyle choices to the point
    that pharmaceutical drugs are unnecessary.
  8. Start exercising- walk, stretch, rebound, work out, etc.
Exercise is a fundamental principle for optimum health.
  9. Avoid stress- Learn your limits and take time to relax.
If necessary, amend your lifestyle and/or relationsips
  10. Maximize sleep- Eight hours average is a good target.
    The adrenal glands reboot/manufacture hormones
between 10PM and 2AM every day, so plan your sleep
    pattern accordingly
  11. Feed your spirit- A healthy life is spiritually-based.
Read the scriptures, pray, and cultivate a personal
    relationship with Yahshua.

Due to physical make-up, more women than men are
usually prone to have hormone imbalances because
child-bearing requires an enormous hormonal exchange.
The development of a fetus places places great demands
on a woman's body, so it is not surprising that many women,
from the onset of puberty, suffer some type of female
problem such as painful, irregular mensus as well as
a menopausal crisis. Both are linked directly to assorted
hormonal imbalances. Science, medicine, and experience
prove that such female problems can be solved naturally
by implementing healthier lifestyle choices. Likewise, infertility
and miscarriage incidents usually disappear when the body
has an adequate/proper balance of hormones. Many women
have happily discovered that, given proper care for their
bodies, the need for surgery, especially hysterectomy and
its accompanying hormone replacement therapy, are
unnecessary.

While men do not share the same hormone needs as
women, they nevertheless are not exempt from imbalance
as relating to sprem production and erectile function. It is
important to note that insufficient male hormones can
contribute to infertility. Likewise, many men suffer from
some form of menopause, a fact which is not commonly
knows or understood but nevertheless is real.

HEALTHY HORMONES: Supplements
Depending on the individual, natural supplements exist
that address hormone issues, the most common being
Maca and He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti). Both are roots or tubers
that are sourced in Peru and China respectfully. Of the
two, the latter proves more potent than Maca, but both
are effective hormone boosters. Maca is found in many
plant-based protein formulas, nevertheless it, along with
Fo-Ti, also are also marketed separately as powders,
roots, and teas through health food stores and on-line.
Herbal supplements also exist that treat hormone issues,
some of which are formulated to address specific needs.

HEALTHY HORMONES: The bottom line
In an age where health problems are wide-spread and solutions
are commonly based on medical modalities such as pharmaceutical
drugs, surgery, and assorted treatments/therapies, it is important to
understand that natural solutions exist that are available outside of
mainstream medicine that ultimately prove to be more effective.
Therefore, it is important to be pro-active when making personal
health care choices. It is said that health care is self care, and this
is rightly so; for learning how to naturally care for ourselves is
usually the best route to take.

Truly the human body is a remarkable creation, having a myriad
of systems and operations more marvelous and mysterious
than the human mind can fathom. Part of the wonder of the
human body is that it is self-healing. Given the right food and
care, it will repair itself, but it needs personal input to do so.

If we want to enjoy a healthy life, free of sickness, pain, and
disease, we must take the necessary steps to make it happen.
No one can do it for us. We need not be bowed down with
health problems, especially those caused by an endocrine
system that is either over-worked or shut down. Hormone
help exists. Correcting the body's balance is possible.
Therefore take a step in the right direction by making
healthier lifestyle choices for yourself the living way so that
you and your hormones can be healthy and happy!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 2

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.-
John 10:10
