Here I am with my award winning painting, August Garden,
First place/oil division
In Town Arts Fest 2003
Waterville, MaineSince a young child, I have always been creative and the inner desire to express beauty has been an integral part of my life. Throughout my formative years, I actively learned the disciplines of many arts, particularly the visual arts. I was a quick, eager learner who applied newly-found skills with surprising success. At a young age, I was the recipient of many awards for my talents, all of which served to inspire me toward pursuing a career in art. I attended Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated with a BFA degree in graphic design and illustration with a minor in painting. Soon after graduation I discovered that painting was my lifetime ambition. At the age of twenty three, I began my professional career as a mural artist- a journery that ultimately led me to become a fine artist. I have been an oil painter for over thirty years, and my work has been recognized locally and nationally with considerable success. I invite you to visit my website and share in the wonderful experience of what I consider Living Art.-
