Greetings from Maine where winter is off to a slow start! Record-breaking, high temperatures are a welcomed boon for those who need to finish outside tasks or simply want to have more time to enjoy the extended fall. Planting and mulching our garlic under gloriously beautiful autumn skies has been a delight! Soon it will be time to dig up more Jerusalem Artichokes and say good-bye to all my beloved greens in the yard..The time for sprouting is nigh at hand, so plan to join me in this winter sport! Indoor gardening can be a life saver, so give it a try! Make the cold season a healthy adventure! You can do it! Whatever your winter strategy, make it wholesome...the LIVING WAY!!!!!!!!
